Dr. Kasonso joins Northwestern's faculty after serving as the founder and managing principal at a Washington, D.C.-based accounting firm. He has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses at universities in Maryland, Illinois and the United Arab Emirates. A CPA who earned Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification, Kasonso previously worked as a management auditor and fiscal analyst in the California State Controller's Office.
