Favorite thing about Northwestern: I appreciate the holistic and intentional lifestyle Northwestern promotes. In and through all things, I was encouraged as a student to live a life of faith, hospitality and generosity. Whether it was through the academic classroom, Christ-centered chapel, crazy Fern Smith Hall events, or genuine conversations among peers and friends, I continually grew emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically.
College search advice: This is a pivotal time in your life when it feels like the weight of the world is bearing down and you need to have everything figured out. I encourage you to pause and stop trying to have it all figured out and rather just be. Let God lead and enjoy the season of life you are in. This is such an exciting time in your life. Slow down, invest in relationships, learn about things that interest you, and don’t be afraid of change. I truly believe the Lord has his hand in every student’s college decision process.
