Tonya Moore-Huss Academic Support Specialist, NEXT Program Coordinator
Tonya Moore-Huss has more than 20 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students, mainly in special education. She teaches courses for Northwestern's special education endorsement, as well as other education classes. In addition to working with students who need academic support and coordinating the NEXT program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, she also teaches half time in the education department. Moore-Huss earned a master's degree in collaborative learning and teaching from Graceland University and a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from the University of Northern Iowa.
