Resources for faculty
In furthering our mission to help Northwestern students become better writers, the Writing Center also helps professors effectively integrate writing into their classes by offering orientations, writing workshops and in-class tutoring. Simply e-mail Tom Truesdell, director of the Writing Center, to schedule one of the following services:
Writing Center orientations
Let your students know how the Writing Center can help them become better writers by having your students tour the center or by having a center representative visit your class.
In-class writing workshops
We can work with you to design in-class workshops on topics such as documentation, plagiarism, grammar/punctuation, research essays, sentence structure and essay exams.
In-class tutoring
We can arrange to have a tutor visit your class to provide individualized feedback and writing assistance to your students.
