Feb. 15 & 16, 2013

Step inside the world of theatre…Explore your opportunities in theatre at Northwestern College. Join us for a weekend in November or February. At these special Northwestern College Preview Days, you can interact with theatre faculty and students, take part in a class, watch Northwestern theatre in action, and audition or interview for a scholarship.

11:50 to 12:50 p.m.	Theatre as a Fine Arts class
1 to 2 p.m.	Campus tour
2 to 2:45 p.m.	Tour of the DeWitt Theatre Arts Center
2:45 to 3:30 p.m.	Q&A with theatre students
3:30 to 5 p.m.	Drama Ministries Ensemble
5 to 6 p.m.	Dinner with theatre students
6 to 7:30 p.m.	Meet your overnight host
7:30 to 10 p.m.	Comedy of Errors
Saturday
8:30 to 9 a.m.	Breakfast
9 to 9:45 a.m.	Q&A with the theatre faculty
9:45 a.m. to noon	Theatre scholarship auditions and interviews

Theatre Production Scholarship

The Theatre Production Scholarship is a monetary award based on your skill, experience, and plans to become actively involved in theatre productions at Northwestern College. The annual awards range from $2,300 to $2,600. On Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, and Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, auditions and interviews will be held for 2013-14 scholarship applicants. Parents

Parents are welcome to attend Theatre Preview Days. Overnight accommodations may be made at the Dutch Colony Inn (712-737-3490) or Super 8 Motel (712-737-2600).

Our mission

The goal of the Northwestern College theatre department is to equip theatre artists for the task of developing their creative gifts for service in the Kingdom of Christ.
