Rohrer is available to help and counsel international students as they adjust to higher education and life in the United States. She also is adviser for the International Club, which includes both international and American students, and she is the college’s liaison to prospective students and other college constituents in Asia. She regularly travels to Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and her home country of Taiwan.

Rohrer has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from Taiwan Theological College and a Master’s in Divinity from Taiwan Theological Seminary. She also earned an M.A. in religious studies from Fujen Jesuit University in Taiwan and an M.A.R. from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Iowa. Before coming to the U.S., Rohrer was a youth minister in several Taiwanese churches and a counselor at MacKay Memorial Hospital in Taipei. She also has been a college-level counselor and instructor at Taiwanese colleges.
