Study sociology abroad
Sociology majors can participate in the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities’ programs to study in countries like China, Costa Rica, Russia, Uganda or the Middle East. Numerous additional study abroad options to places like France, Mexico, The Netherlands and Wales are available as well. Students can also participate in a short-term study abroad trip to the Middle Eastern country of Oman, led by sociology professor Dr. Monsma. Or they can join other Northwestern College faculty on regular short-term study trips to countries like Ecuador, India, Romania and South Africa.
