West Hall

Built in 1981, West Hall houses 85 men.

Number of students per room: 2-3; one room accommodates 4 students

Room dimensions/description: 11 x 15; the walls are cinder block, floors are carpeted

Closets/storage space: There is a built-in wardrobe for each student

Furniture/amenities provided: Bunk bed, desk with chair

You’ll want to bring your own … mini fridge, fan

Showers per student: About 1 shower for every 7 men

Community spaces: There’s a 2nd-floor lounge, but really, every space in West is a community space.

Indoor game of choice: Settlers of Catan, which some have called a mix of Monopoly and Civilization with a touch of Risk

Laundry/cooking facilities: Community laundry; community kitchen with stove, microwave and pizza oven

Distance to the caf’: 612 feet-7 inches

West traditions: Man Night, Week of rice, and late night Capture the Flag, among others.
