Distance to the caf’: About a two-minute walk
Courtyard Village traditions: In 2003-04, Rachel Menke, Columbus, Neb., started Cookie Day. The junior baked and served cookies from 4 p.m. to midnight every Thursday. An average of 180 students stopped by her apartment for cookies every week.
