Themed housing

Students can have a nontraditional residence life experience in a themed house, wing or other defined area of a residence hall. Themed houses are designated and advised by Northwestern faculty or staff, often at the request of students who want to spend a semester or year living together under a common theme.

Northwestern College themed housing includes:

Multicultural Community

Student participants are both experienced at and inspired by multicultural living and learning. They seek to further their understanding of and appreciation for diversity by intentionally living outside their comfort zone and inviting others into the new community they create.

Not every themed house is available every year.
