|
Jul 3, 2008
Christian education graduate Lindsey De Kruif received a Congregational Fellowship from the Fund for Theological Education (FTE). The fellowship is matched with funds from De Kruif's nominating church, the Chandler Reformed Church in Minnesota, and is worth up to $5,000 for her study at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Mich.
Based in Atlanta, Ga., the FTE competively selects young leaders who demonstrate exceptional gifts for ministry from a pool of North American applicants. They must be nominated by a congregation, be preparing for parish ministry, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and posses intellectual and interpersonal gifts for pastoral leadership.
De Kruif graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2008. While at Northwestern, she was involved in campus ministry and served as a ministry intern for American Reformed Church, Orange City.
