American religious history, the history of Christianity and youth ministry are the subjects taught by Professor Kinsinger. A graduate of Wheaton College, Kinsinger holds a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary and a doctorate in religious studies from the University of Iowa. His research interests include Colonial American religion, religious pluralism and American evangelicalism. He is a member of the American Society of Church History, the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, the Presbyterian Historical Society, and the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry.
