$500 Red Recruiter Scholarship
Anyone who loves Northwestern College can encourage high school students to give NWC a look by putting our money behind your message with Northwestern’s new Red Recruiter Scholarship. The scholarship costs the giver nothing—you give the gift; Northwestern foots the bill.
The Red Recruiter Scholarship can be given to any high school students to encourage them to check out Northwestern College. Completed scholarship cards are mailed to Northwestern’s Office of Admissions and kept until the recipient either decides to enroll or goes elsewhere. Recipients who enroll receive a $500 Red Recruiter Scholarship as part of their NWC financial aid package.
Instructions for alumni, parents and friends
You may give a Red Recruiter Scholarship to as many students as you want, including any in your own family. E-mail Northwestern’s alumni office to request scholarship cards to distribute. Indicate how many you want and provide a mailing address.
Instructions for prospective students
To redeem your $500 Red Recruiter Scholarship, return the scholarship card to the Northwestern College Office of Admissions at any time, even if you’re unsure where you’re going to college. We will keep it until you’re ready for college; then, if you decide to enroll at Northwestern, the $500 Red Recruiter Scholarship will be added to your financial aid package.
Restrictions
- The Red Recruiter Scholarship is available ONLY to first-time freshman or transfer students enrolling in Northwestern College after Aug. 1, 2009.
- Incoming Northwestern students are eligible for only ONE Red Recruiter Scholarship.
- Immediate family members of Northwestern College employees are NOT eligible for the Red Recruiter Scholarship.
- Red Recruiter Scholarships must be returned to Northwestern College’s Office of Admissions BEFORE March 1 of the year you plan to enroll in Northwestern to be added to your financial aid package.
