Morning on the Green scheduled for Oct. 25

Northwestern College’s annual Morning on the Green, a carnival filled with games and prizes, will be held during Raider Days homecoming and family weekend on Saturday, Oct. 25. Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and families are invited to attend the event, which will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon on the campus green. In the case of inclement weather, a change of location will be announced.

Morning on the Green consists of carnival activities run by students. Booths vary, but usually participants can enjoy an inflatable slide, cake walk, face painting, bowling, balloon characters and more. Tickets can be purchased for 25 cents. Each booth will set its own price, but typically the cost is three or four tickets for each activity. The funds raised will benefit student clubs and organizations. Additionally, a meal will be served on the green from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
