The Rev. Dr. Tim Brown, president of Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Mich., will speak in Northwestern College’s chapel service on Monday, March 28, at 10:05 a.m. The public is invited to attend.
After 13 years of teaching at Western Seminary, Brown accepted the call to lead the institution as president in 2008. He also holds the title of Henry Bast Professor of Preaching. Prior to coming to Western, Brown was the senior pastor of Christ Memorial Church in Holland, Mich., for 12 years. He also held a joint position with Hope College as the Hinga-Boersma Dean of the Chapel.
Brown has served on the Reformed Church in America’s Board of Theological Education, the Hope College Board of Trustees, and the executive committee of Words of Hope, and is currently a General Synod Professor. He is also a frequent speaker at pastors’ conferences, college campuses and church renewal events.
