Students visit state legislature

Students in Northwestern College’s Social Policy course visited the Iowa state legislature recently as part of the National Association of Social Work-Iowa Chapter’s Legislation Day.
The students received training on political advocacy, attented the appropriations committee hearing, and visited with local representatives.
