Two Dove Award-nominated Christian music groups will be on stage when Northwestern College hosts the Live Life Loud Tour on Saturday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rowenhorst Student Center.
Group 1 Crew's song “Movin’” from the “Ordinary Dreamers” CD is a nominee for the Dove Award’s Rap/Hip-Hop Song of the Year.
Headliner Hawk Nelson is one of the nominees for Short-Form Video of the Year, which will be announced at the Dove Awards on April 25. The Canadian band, which recently performed in Australia with the Newsboys, has the video from its latest album’s title cut, Live Life Loud, up for the award.
Group 1 Crew, an urban pop and hip-hop trio, has its song Movin' from the Ordinary Dreamers CD nominated for the Dove Award’s Rap/Hip-Hop Song of the Year.
The Live Life Loud Tour, sponsored by World Vision, will be opened by A Road Less Traveled, a Texas-based band. The tour will take the three groups to Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Texas and Wisconsin, in addition to Orange City.
Tickets are still available. Cost is $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $8 in advance for groups of 10 or more.
