Nine of Orange City’s popular eating establishments will sell their specialties from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Rowenhorst Student Center. “A Taste of Orange City,” part of Northwestern’s 125-year anniversary celebration this weekend, will give friends and alumni of the college their choice of pulled pork sandwiches, pizza, pasta, cactus bread, club sandwiches, chicken tenders, sweet-and-sour chicken, tacos, nachos and brats, as well as smoothies, frappucinos and Italian sodas.

Vendors taking part in the event include Blue Mountain Smokehouse Grille, De Koffie Hoek & Bistro, Pizza Hut, Pizza Ranch, Quiznos, Sodexho (the college’s food service provider), Szechuan Inn, Taco John’s and Woudstra’s Meat Market.

Tickets will be sold for $1 each. Selections will range from one to six tickets.
