Professor Gamerl has performed internationally as a soloist and orchestral musician. She plays oboe in area symphony orchestras and performs as a chamber musician with the ANALOG Arts Ensemble, the Amphion Quartet and the Omaha Chamber Music Society. Gamerl is also founder and editor of OboeNews, a national newsletter for oboe students and educators. A private oboe instructor, she earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
