Professor Ostrem has taught voice, band and orchestra, and she plays double bass in the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra. She also serves as an adjudicator, mezzo-soprano soloist and Christian music singer/songwriter who has released one recording, “FaithStep.” She earned a Master of Music degree from the University of South Dakota and a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State College.
