An active organ recitalist and Northwestern’s college organist, Professor Wielenga has led workshops for church organists and pianists as well as piano teachers. An adjudicator for piano festivals and contests, she is a member of the American Guild of Organists, National Federation of Music Clubs, and Music Teachers National Association. She received Master of Music degrees in both organ and piano performance and literature from the University of South Dakota and a bachelor’s degree in organ performance from Morningside College. A church organist and choir director, Professor Wielenga also operates a private organ and piano studio. She has held positions at Dordt, Morningside and Westmar colleges.
