Symphonette
The Symphonette consists of approximately 25 student string players, who give several performances each year. They perform works for chamber ensemble and small orchestra, incorporating a wind and percussion complement. Some concerts involve area wind and percussion players to perform a broad range of orchestral literature. Symphonette holds one-hour rehearsals twice each week and performs many early works, as well as repertoire from the 20th century.
Membership is by invitation and permission of the director, Dr. Kimberly Utke Svanoe.
