Retreats
At Northwestern College, we believe students sometimes need to retreat from classes, homework, roommates and campus life in order to reflect and listen to God. While times and places to reflect can be found on campus too, extended time in an unfamiliar setting is the key for some to unlocking the door to insight. Campus ministry offers several retreats each year that give students the opportunity for reflection, spiritual challenge, worship, solitude, recreation, prayer, fellowship and more.

All-campus retreat
Sept. 19-21
Camp Judson, Keystone, S.D.
Camp Judson in the Black Hills of South Dakota offers students, faculty and staff a peaceful setting for individual reflection and cross-campus community building. Participants experience fellowship through bunking together in cabins, worshipping and accepting spiritual challenges together, and spending time alone to read the Bible and pray. Campers can also visit Mt. Rushmore and hike Mt. Baldy.
