Savariappan attends conference on teaching statistics

Dr. Paul Savariappan, visiting assistant professor of mathematics, attended the Conference on Teaching Introductory Statistics put on by the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee on July 14.
The conference included discussion of new tools to help in teaching real-world examples and other ways professors can enhance their students' appreciation of the statistical techniques they are learning.
