Reserves

Reserve materials are items professors have set aside in the library for their students to read. These materials may be checked out for either two hours or three days. Reserve items are listed in the white binders on the far left side of the circulation desk. To look up an item on reserve, first locate the name of the course instructor (in an alphabetical listing) and then look up the specific course to find all reserve readings for that particular class.

Reserve materials are also listed on the Northwestern College website. Go to the Ramaker Library home page and click on “Raider Link.” On the left side of the screen, go to “Course Reserves” and click on either “Course Search” or “Instructor Search.” The items on reserve for each class will be listed according to the professor’s name and the course title.

A form for faculty to use in placing material on reserve can be obtained at the circulation desk or online (PDF).
