Children’s Library
The Children’s Library supports Northwestern’s education program by providing education students with high-quality children’s literature books, journals, reference tools, and other literary or nonfiction resources.
Located in the Stegeman Room on the second floor of Ramaker Library, the collection opened in 1998 with children’s books purchased from Westmar College. Today there are approximately 3,500 titles in the Children’s Library available for checkout. Media resources are also available for use.

Hours for the Children’s Library are identical to those of Ramaker Library.
Related magazines/periodicals
Ramaker Library subscribes to periodicals that are related to education. Although several are housed in the Children’s Library, the bulk of the collection is on the main floor of Ramaker Library.
Need something outside our collection?
Ramaker Library has access to the WorldCat and EBSCOhost databases and offers an interlibrary loan service to students, faculty and staff.
