Dean of Enrollment Management
As dean of enrollment management, Kenton Pauls oversees Northwestern’s admissions, financial aid and public relations offices. He also works with other officials in the area of student retention.
Pauls joined the Northwestern administration in 2011 after nearly 10 years as director of enrollment services at the University of North Dakota. He previously served Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, as a senior admissions counselor for five years.
A frequent presenter at national conferences on topics ranging from marketing and the use of data in recruitment to predictive modeling, Pauls also has led training seminars in recruitment effectiveness for one of the nation’s foremost higher education marketing and consulting firms.
Pauls earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Trinity Western University and an M.B.A. from the University of North Dakota.
