In addition to serving as the defensive coordinator for Northwestern’s football program, McCarty also teaches concepts and activity courses in the kinesiology department. A Northwestern alum, he was a four-year letter winner in football. Before rejoining Northwestern’s program, he was a teacher and coach in the Okoboji school district.
