Host families
To help international students as they adjust to both Northwestern College and Orange City, Iowa, American host families are matched with each international student. Students' host families remain the same throughout their years at Northwestern.
Host families invite international students to their homes for weekend, holiday and school vacation visits. Students share family life, entertainment and American and ethnic cooking with their host families. Many international students remain close to their host families even after they leave Northwestern.
