Humanities
A truly interdisciplinary major, humanities offers students the opportunity to take classes in art, English, history, music, philosophy, religion, Spanish and theatre—all while pursuing a single, multi-faceted degree. Students in the major can focus on one of those areas or several together. Humanities is a great solution for the student who can’t decide on a major in any one of those disciplines, and it’s excellent preparation for graduate school or seminary, where you will be required to focus your study. Northwestern’s humanities major draws some of the college’s brightest, most multitalented students.
