Homecoming 2008: Sept. 26-28
Northwestern’s annual fall Homecoming celebration includes class reunions, Raider football and other sports, distinguished alumni awards, a Morning on the Green kids’ carnival, the Raider run/walk and socializing on campus.
Alumni come back to campus from across town or the other side of the globe. They reconnect with faculty who have mentored them over the years and bring their families to revisit former classrooms, residence halls and the chapel. They marvel at how much the campus has changed.
And yet, as Junko Nagao ’70, an alum from Japan, recently observed: “The surprising thing is that Northwestern still feels like home.”
