 Sheri Gunderson oversees Northwestern’s grant-seeking efforts, researches new funding opportunities, and helps manage the college’s fundraising process. A 1997 NWC graduate, she joined the advancement office as its research coordinator in 1999 and four years later was promoted to her current position.
Gunderson has been active in the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) since 1999 and has served two years on the board of the Great Plains chapter of APRA. She has published two articles in Connections, APRA International’s quarterly journal; made a presentation at a Great Plains APRA conference; hosted the chapter’s 2004 annual conference, and led a grant-writing workshop in Sioux City, Iowa. She is also a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
