 Aletha Beeson works with major special events, including Homecoming, the Gala Auction and alumni reunions, in her role as an assistant in the development office. A Northwestern College graduate, she has held a variety of roles at her alma mater. Prior to joining the development staff, she directed the placement of NWC’s education graduates and student teachers, managed the student affairs office, coordinated the drama ministries tour, and worked as an assistant in the president’s office.
In the community, Beeson is the part-time children's ministry director at First Reformed Church in Orange City. She has served on the boards of the Orange City Community Chest, local preschool, and elementary school’s parents’ organization. She also was a library board member, women’s ministries treasurer, and youth adviser for her church.
