Donating your home or farmland is a wonderful way to make a gift—especially if the home or land has appreciated in value. Doing so allows you to avoid capital gains tax and remove the asset from your estate.

You can transfer the deed of your home or farmland to Northwestern now, retain the use of the property for your lifetime (and your spouse’s), and still receive great tax benefits.
