Alumni gifts
Need a good reason to support your alma mater? Here’s two:
- Only 65% of Northwestern’s operating budget comes from student tuition. The rest comes from private gifts. Your donation makes a Northwestern education more affordable for students.
- Large foundation gifts are often influenced by the percentage of alumni who give to Northwestern, which means your gift—regardless of the amount—plays a crucial role.
Alumni giving by the numbers (2011–12)
