Gala Auction
Northwestern’s National Alumni Board hosts the annual Gala Auction to raise money for 35 to 40 student scholarships of $1,000 each, the $1,500 NWC Teaching Excellence Award, a fall faculty workshop, and student life programs. A Northwestern College tradition, the annual Gala Auction is a night of spirited fun and generous giving.
Gala Auction 2008 raised around $31,000, bringing the total raised through the auction to more than $600,000. More than 500 guests bid on 450 items while they enjoyed the event's anniversary celebration-themed fun and food.
