Campus opportunities for foreign language students
La Casa Española. If you’re an advanced Spanish student, consider applying to live in Northwestern’s Spanish House. Members commit to speaking only Spanish in the house and to reaching out to the local Hispanic community through various cultural, educational and service activities. It’s a practical way to use what you’ve learned in the classroom—and you can even get academic credit for participating.
Spanish Chapel. Led by students, Spanish Chapel is held the last Friday of each month and offers an alternative to the college’s regular chapel program. Participants sing, pray, share and worship the Lord in Spanish.
Spanish Club. Join this club, and you can help organize Spanish Chapel, movie nights and other on-campus, Spanish-related activities.
International Club. Whether you’re an international student or American, International Club is a great way to meet people from other countries and cultures. You might even learn something while making great friends!
