Profile
Dr. Woodbury has chaired the foreign language departments at Dordt College, Geneva College and Northwestern College in Minnesota and taught Spanish at Wheaton College in Illinois. She also served as the associate director of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities' Latin American Studies Program in San Jose, Costa Rica; as co-director of the Wheaton in Argentina Summer Program for one summer; and as a teacher of French and Englih in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Beginning Spanish Language and Culture
Combined study of language and culture. Study of major social systems and themes of Hispanic culture. Building on previously acquired ability in Spanish, elementary study of the language in a communicative context. Emphasis upon integration of developing language skills with cultural understanding and sensitivity in oral communication settings.Prerequisite: SPA101, or placement by the foreign language placement exam.(3 credits)
