Financial aid timeline
While there is no deadline for applying for financial aid at Northwestern College, the sooner you apply, the more money is available to help meet your need. Once financial aid packages have been awarded in April, funds are more limited—and so is our ability to help you pay for your college education.
Here are some guidelines for taking full advantage of financial aid resources, as well as deadlines for specific scholarships:
| Dec. 10, 2007 | Deadline for applying for Northwestern College’s Peale Scholarship for 2008–09 |
| |
| Jan. 1, 2008 | Earliest date by which you can file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2008–09 academic year |
| |
| Jan. 31, 2008 | Deadline for applying for special Northwestern grants and scholarships for 2008–09 |
| |
| Feb. 15, 2008 | Deadline for applying for departmental scholarships for 2008–09 |
| |
| April 1, 2008 | Priority deadline for filing the FAFSA for 2008–09 |
| |
| June 30, 2008 | Date by which Iowa students must file the FAFSA in order to be considered for the Iowa Tuition Grant for 2008–09 |
