Jacob Heemstra Memorial Scholarship
The sons of Jacob Heemstra, the first president of Northwestern Junior College, established this scholarship as a memorial to honor his life and his sacrificial commitment to Northwestern College. This award is given to a junior or senior student displaying significant leadership ability. The recipient must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better and have intentions of attending graduate school.

To apply for this scholarship, download, print and fill out the application form. (Note that each form serves as the application for several scholarships. You don’t need to fill out a separate application for each scholarship listed on an application—simply check the ones for which you qualify and for which you would like to apply.)
