Presidential Scholarships
Northwestern College awards Presidential Scholarships to incoming freshmen with a minimum ACT score of 26 (or SAT equivalent) who either are in the top 10 percent of their high school class or have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Students meeting those criteria automatically qualify for a $7,000 scholarship and are invited to campus to participate in one of four Scholarship Days, where they will compete for scholarships worth as much as $12,000 per year. The Presidential Scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the student achieves a 2.75 cumulative GPA after his or her first year and a 3.0 cumulative GPA thereafter.
Students qualifying for a Presidential Scholarship must be accepted for admission to Northwestern College in order to be invited to one of the Scholarship Days.
