Scholarships and awards
Maintenance Department Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the Northwestern College Maintenance Department to assist students with financial need. It is given to a junior or senior who has worked with the maintenance department and has shown evidence of sincere Christian character and leadership. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of their ability to achieve their academic goals and must secure a written recommendation from either the director of maintenance and operations or their maintenance department supervisor.
- Junior or senior
- Must have worked for the maintenance department a minimum of two semesters or two summers or a semester and a summer
- Financial need
- Sincere Christian character and leadership
- Ability to achieve academic goals

The deadline for applying for this scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year has passed. The downloadable application/instructions are available for informational purposes only. Please check this webpage again in November of 2008, when Northwestern will open the scholarship application process for the 2009-10 academic year.
