Hendrene Te Grootenhuis Elementary Education Scholarship
Established with proceeds from the Hendrene Te Grootenhuis ’35 estate, this scholarship recognizes Hendrene’s devotion and loyalty to Northwestern College and the teaching profession. One or more scholarships are awarded to students, with preference to those majoring in elementary education. Other education majors pursuing elementary endorsements also may be considered. Financial need is considered but is not a requirement.

The deadline for applying for this scholarship for the 2009-10 academic year has passed. The downloadable application/instructions are available for informational purposes only. Please check this webpage again in November of 2009, when Northwestern will open the scholarship application process for the 2010-11 academic year.
