Howard & Gertrude Scholten Elementary Education Scholarship
Established by proceeds from the testamentary trust of Howard and Gertrude (Korver ’25) Scholten, this scholarship recognizes the Scholtens’ deep affection for Northwestern College and elementary education. Two or more scholarships are awarded to students majoring in elementary education. The recipients must demonstrate financial need; preference is given to students from California and the West Coast.

The deadline for applying for this scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year has passed. The downloadable application/instructions are available for informational purposes only. Please check this webpage again in November of 2008, when Northwestern will open the scholarship application process for the 2009-10 academic year.
