Financial aid at Northwestern College

A college education is an investment—an investment that impacts not only your earning power over the course of your lifetime, but more importantly, the kind of person you will become. At Northwestern, you’ll gain the critical thinking, communication and decision-making skills employers are looking for. You’ll also develop a greater understanding of God’s work and your place in the world so you can make a difference with your life.

It’s not enough for Northwestern to offer added value, however. There’s also the question of how to pay for a private college education. That’s where we can help. This past year, we awarded over $25 million in financial aid to 100 percent of our students—in aid packages that average more than $18,800 and that range from $1,500 to $23,000.

The point is, don’t assume you can’t afford Northwestern. Rather than comparing the cost of tuition, compare your actual costs after financial aid. We have students who are paying less at Northwestern than they would at a state university.

Don’t limit yourself. Let us show you what it will really cost you to attend Northwestern. Apply for admission and fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (Our FAFSA code is 001883.) Find out for yourself why Northwestern has consistently been listed by an independent research firm as one of the nation’s best buys in colleges.
