Collegiate Scholarships
Northwestern College awards Collegiate Scholarships to incoming freshmen with a minimum ACT score of 23 (or SAT equivalent) who either are in the top 25 percent of their high school class or have a minimum GPA of 3.25. Students meeting those criteria automatically qualify for a scholarship worth a minimum of $7,000 per year and are invited to campus to participate in one of four Scholarship Days, where they will compete for scholarships of up to $10,000 per year. The Collegiate Scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the student achieves a 2.75 cumulative GPA after his or her first year and a 3.0 cumulative GPA thereafter.
Students qualifying for a Collegiate Scholarship must be accepted for admission to Northwestern College prior to being invited to one of the Scholarship Days, which are scheduled for Jan. 14, Jan. 25, Feb. 9, and Feb. 18, 2013.
