Academic Achievement Scholarships

Northwestern College awards Academic Achievement Scholarships to incoming freshmen who have a minimum ACT score of 21 (or SAT equivalent) and are in the top half of their high school class. Students meeting those criteria qualify for annual scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $6,000. Academic Achievement Scholarships are renewable for up to four years, provided the student achieves a 2.75 cumulative GPA after his or her first year and a 3.0 cumulative GPA thereafter.

Students qualifying for an Academic Achievement Scholarship must be accepted for admission to Northwestern College before they can be awarded the scholarship.

How to apply

Students meeting the qualifications for Academic Achievement Scholarships must apply for admission and submit high school transcripts and official ACT or SAT scores. Award amounts will be sent to students via letter following their acceptance to the college.
