Study English abroad
Reading about other countries and cultures is the next best thing to traveling there. Traveling there is better than you can imagine. English majors have broadened their horizons and expanded their imaginations through semester study abroad experiences in London, Wales and France. Others traveled to South Africa, London and Germany on month-long summer study trips led by Northwestern professors.
