Northwestern College has a full-time position beginning Aug. 1 for an admissions counselor.
Responsibilities
This position will report to the director of admissions and manage a recruitment territory to attract and encourage students to enroll at the college. Responsibilities include traveling to college fairs and high schools to personally visit with prospective students, doing written follow-up, and calling to prospective students to encourage enrollment at the college. Understanding and explaining financial aid and the financial aid process is also a major part of the job responsibilities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and will be expected to have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge of and commitment to Christian higher education is expected. Significant computer skill and knowledge is also desired.
