Study education abroad

Education students have worked with schools, orphanages and churches on two cross-cultural study trips to Jamaica.
Education students have taken advantage of Northwestern’s many opportunities to study abroad. They have traveled to Jamaica, South Africa and Germany on month-long summer study trips led by Northwestern professors and have participated in semester-long programs in Costa Rica, Spain and Uganda. They’ve worked with an NWC education professor at a camp for students with disabilities in Guatemala. And they’ve student-taught in such countries as Guatemala and Jamaica. Many students also take advantage of the Spring Service Project and Summer of Service programs to work with children, teach ESL, experience another culture, develop their leadership skills and share their faith.
